What is Alpha?
The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. It runs over a period of about 12 weeks, and is a great place to relax, make friends and learn, in a relaxed and non-judgmental atmosphere.
What happens at Alpha?
A typical Alpha lunch starts with a meal together, followed by a short DVD, and then small group discussions where people can feel free to say what they think! No question is too simple, or too silly.
What do you talk about?
Each week has a new theme. Examples include the following:
"Who is Jesus?"
"How does God guide us?"
"What about the church?"
Who is Alpha for?
Everyone. The course is in English and Japanese.
How much?
Alpha itself is free but we ask 500 yen to cover food expenses. The first, introduction lunch is free.
